I’m a white male, am I considered a diverse professional?

Yes, we recognize diversity in the most inclusive way: age, race/ethnicity, disability, gender, religion, sexual orientation, thought, veterans… There are plenty of ways a person can be diverse other than visible diversity. However, we do ask that you contemplate the historical injustices that are still resonating in today’s workplace. Part of the service DiversityConneX provides is offering visibility to diverse professionals that have been historically (and recently) outright refused, ignored or mistreated, resulting in the marginalization of qualified individuals. If you do not identify with this statement, you may have better luck in other employment avenues. If you decide this is the place for you, we will not turn you away. We do invite you to participate in the discussions and interactive aspects of the site and our social media outlets, as your opinion and participation is equally important. We do not believe that inclusion has to push anyone out to allow all an equal chance!
